Prepare Your Hearts for Sunday

Please prepare your hearts for worship this month by praying that God will touch your heart as you search the scriptures and as you participate in worship. As is our tradition, we’ll begin the month of July with Communion on both Sunday, July 7 and Thursday, July 11. Scriptures include 2 Kings 5:1-14; Psalm 30; Galatians 6:1-16; and Luke 10:1-11, 16-20.

There is no service on Thursday, July 4.

Scriptures for Sunday, July 14 include Amos 7:7-17; Psalm 82; Colossians 1:1-14 and Luke 10:25-37.

Sunday, July 21 will feature some or all of Amos 8:1-12; Psalm 52; Colossians 1:15-28 and Luke 10:38-42.

We’ll wrap up the month with Hosea 1:2-10; Psalm 85; Colossians 2:6-19 and Luke 11:1-13.

As always, scriptures for liturgists are underlined. Pastor Dave
