CONNECT: A partner program between the Orion United Methodist Church and the Western District Library
The Orion United Methodist Church invites Orion students, ages 8 through 18, to the CONNECT program at the MAC (Methodist Activity Center) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:10 pm – 4:30 pm (when school is in session) starting Thursday, March 2nd. Refreshments will be served with a devotional and activities (9 Square in the Air, basketball, board games, etc.) will follow.
At 4:30, CONNECT MAC staff will escort students to the Western District Library for the CONNECT WDL program at the library on Tuesdays and Thursdays (when school is in session) from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm for homework assistance, computer use and other educational and related activities.
CONNECT is a program offered at no cost to students of the Orion community.

At least one volunteer is needed each session to assist with the CONNECT MAC program.
Volunteer duties include assisting with refreshment preparation and working with the CONNECT director to supervise to the students attending the CONNECT MAC program.
